There are two threads, hospitality and community, woven purposefully through the fabric of New Life. We aim to be hospitable because of what it means to be made in the image of God; the One who is our Host to his world. We pursue community because of what it means to be a Christian. "Men of Galilee, why do you stand here looking into the sky?" Those were the words spoken by two angels to Jesus' disciples as they looked up in vain to see Jesus. Jesus had just ascended back to the Father and it appeared that his presence will no longer be with them... or will it? They were about to receive something that had been promised for millennia—a God-empowering, Holy Spirit-filled life. Pastor Kevin will be leading us through a series on the presence, process & power of the Spirit.
